Origin: D.O. Valle Central, at the foot of the Andes. Chile’s “Valle Central” is one of the most important wine regions in South America in terms of volume. The “Valle Central” extends from the Maipo Valley (south of Santiago) to the southern end of the Maule Valley. These 400 km cover many different climates and terroirs, resulting in very different wine profiles.

Soil: Sand, clay, limestone and schist.

Wine -Making Process: The grapes for this white wine from Chile, when they are perfectly ripe, are grown particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day in order to preserve their aromas. After being picked by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken open. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally bottled.

Features: The elegant Colores Santos Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay from Viña las Niñas, shimmers in the glass with a bright light yellow. Poured into a glass, this white wine from Chile presents wonderfully expressive aromas of banana, pear and grapefruit, rounded off by.

This wine inspires with its elegant dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As one would naturally expect from a wine in the higher price range, this Chilean delights with the finest balance, despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and creamy texture. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the Valle Central wine-growing region delights with its exceptional length. There are again hints of pear and grapefruit.

Pairings: Nice as an aperitif. Ideal with seafood and fresh cheese. Fried potatoes with salmon, leek soup or vegetable salad with beetroot.
