A winery steeped in history with the farm house operating as a post house during World War Two. The family’s philosophy is to implement traditional winemaking methods, interfering as little as possible with the natural process. Therefore, producing wines which are very dark in colour.
South Africa’s Pinotage grape is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Being dark red in colour with a nose of mulberries, red currants, blackberry, cinnamon and hints of white pepper. It is a full-bodied wine but demonstrates supple soft tannins. Excellent with roast beef and steak.
