The Marqués de Cáceres philosophy of excellence and our aspiration to create wines that defend the essence of the region’s deep-rooted traditions give rise to Reserva wines.
GRAPE VARIETIES: 85% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano
VINEYARDS & YIELDS: This unique wine comes from singular parcels of vineyards located at high altitudes within our DOCª where old vines of low yields, planted several decades ago, provide us with small-size clusters.
SOILS: Exhaustive research is implemented to identify the different parcels and orientation of the vineyards where nature works with wisdom and often on impulse, so every year is different.
HARVEST: Small-size clusters that are harvested by hand, parcel by parcel, so as to select only perfectly mature and healthy grapes.
VINIFICATION: Their character and personality come to light throughout the careful, handcrafted vinification processes.
TOTAL TIME IN BARREL: It has been aged down in our dark, peaceful cellars for 24 months in French oak barrels.
AGEING IN BOTTLE: 18 months in bottle, where it has developed its exquisite character.
Serve between 16-18 ºC.
