Description

BAROLO D.O.C.G. BOSCARETO

Features: The color is deep garnet red with orange reflections accented with shades of pink and purple. Intense and persistent, ethereal with notes of fruit and dried flowers. It has evident aromas of sweet spice, toast and leather.
Of remarkable structure, enhances tannins but remain soft and pleasant with typical austerity; full-bodied and very charming.

Grapes: Nebbiolo

Production Area: Barolo D.O.C.G., Boscareto in Serralunga d’Alba.

Harvest: Manual, first half of October.

Vinification: Stripping and fermentation with maceration on the skins for 10-12 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with periodic replacements.

Ageing:  In slavonian oak casks for a minimum of two years and thereafter for at least twelve months in stainless steel tanks. After this period, the wine is bottled, where it will continue its refinement.

Pairings: Ideal in combination with dishes based on red meats, game, roasts and cheeses and cured meats. For its nobility, it is pleasant even after a meal as a meditation wine.

Serving Temperature: 18°-20°C
