J. Bally was one of the first distilleries to process single cane rum in Martinique, thus seeking the highest quality.
Inspired by an ancestral technique, from the largest and best distillates such as Cognac, the founder house, Jacques Bally already had the idea of aging rum in oak barrels in 1917.
This aging process supported by wood, has given them an amber color and the delicate fragrances that only time can grant.
Bally’s artisanal methods are perfect, such as the adjustment of the distillation columns, a secret jealously guarded by the master cellar.
The quality of the oak barrels and barrels and the control of the aging process, have been preserved in today’s production of the Distillerie du Simon that carries on the tradition of the J.Bally brand.
All this simply to taste what is probably one of the best rums in the world.
Rhum J.Bally 7 Years Pyramid is an agricultural agricole rum of great finesse and great maturity.
Aged in barrels containing cognac, it is a refined and complex rum.
Colour: mahogany.
Aroma: spicy and sweet, after caramels, oak, spices, vanilla and tobacco.
Taste: Complex and balanced, fruity, with notes of almonds, marzipan and fruit.
