Depaz Grande Réserve XO is a blend of rhums which have been aged between 8 and 10 years.
Ageing: Blend of 8, 9 & 10 YO
Tasting notes:
Appearance: Colour of golden almonds / Dark red / Pale mahogany
Nose: A rum with a rich, complex blend of fruity and woody aromas. Spice, chocolate, rose and liquor ice aromas give way to prune, vanilla and soft oak notes.
On the palate: Soft, fine vanilla and oak flavours. A rounded, extremely complex rhum. Mellow notices of woodiness.
Food pairings:
The refined flavours of Depaz Grande Réserve XO pair excellent with the sweet flavours of pineapple roasted in allspice leaves. Alternatively as an elegant accompaniment to apricot and chilli chutney.
Drinking tips:
To be enjoyed slowly, warming the glass in the palm of the hand. Perfect as an after-dinner digestif served with cigars or fresh coffee.
