Cuvée Prestige by Depaz is certainly one of the finest rum in Martinique, known without a doubt as the finest distillery from Martinique, located in the foothills of the Pelée hill and in front of the gorgeous Caribbean sea, the Depaz distillery was completely destroyed during the eruption of the Pelée hill the 8 of May 1902. It was rebuilt with authenticity by Victor Depaz. The particularity of these rums is their mineral side given by the Pelée hill and his fresh water sources. More than a treasure for the Martinique, a treasure for rum lovers.

 

The tasting notes

NOSE

Complex with spicy notes (cinnamon, nutmeg), fruity (dates and plums), wood and liquorice.

 

PALATE

Dominant sweet oak tastes, similar tastes as the aromas.  

FINAL

Very nice, balanced and rounded rum.
